Gorgeous, 6 foot supermodel Margaux Hemingway was BOTD in 1954 & killed herself in 1996 at 44. Six other members of her family took their own lives, including her grandfather, legendary author Ernest Hemingway, who shot himself in the head with a shotgun in 1961 at the age of 61

Schrader had written the main character of Travis Bickle with Jeff Bridges in mind. Later, stories came out of Al Pacino and Burt Reynolds turning down the chance to play Travis. And Dustin Hoffman said he turned it down because “I thought [Scorsese] was crazy!”
