I'm sorry, but it really bothers me that the Pantone Color of the Year is...
not actually a color.
That's like a Flavor of the Year being Air.
The Sound of the Year being Silence.
The Feeling of the Year being I Have Never Known The Touch of a Woman.

I will say over and over again that us library folk need to be louder in our support of the Post Office. Because guess what—if they start thinking of USPS in terms of“making” or “losing” money, libraries won’t be far behind.
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

RFK issues a report on children’s health and never makes a reference to the number one cause of children’s death -gun violence. That kind of ideological willful blindness is what results in such carnage.

This is no joke. Summer of 2023 I honestly thought I was having a mental breakdown. I'm fortunate to have a great doctor who sent me to a neurologist to make sure everything was good (I'm missing a spot in my brain, though! Also no joke!!).

K-17 has friends over for his bday. My house smells like pizza, bbq chips, and Axe body spray.
It’s also beyond adorable to hear these half-tryin-to-be-grown voices coming in saying “hello Mrs. Kenny, you have a lovely home” 🤣🤣
