The premise of US-based coverage of politics is underscored by this.
We're all supposed to be 100% in tune with white men's feelings. We're supposed to care about them at the expense of our own. We are supposed to live in fear of them getting upset. Treating their feelings as grenades that can go off at any time. They on the other hand do not need to care about ours.

8. I am so appalled that the Trump/Ferguson FTC dropped this case. Local independent grocery stores are being driven out of business — and their customers forced to pay higher prices — by two powerful companies who've been told, in effect, that they can violate the law with impunity.

Everybody needs to see this blatant price collusion, and how there’s been no accountability for it. I hope the other retailers bring suit.
1. For at least 10 years, Pepsi has conspired with Walmart to force up grocery prices. That’s the shocking evidence made public today in an unsealed FTC lawsuit. The suit was abandoned in May by the Trump FTC just before it was to be un-redacted. We went to court to get it unsealed & won.

I’m zen about this because I love pumpkin pie but it’s one of those things you can’t get defensive about because it is just flavored mush and if people don’t like a big rectangle of mush I’m not going to call them incorrect, Thanksgiving is really a time for mushes of all sorts.

I was there and this was a great service! I had 2 shirts and some sandals repaired, and not only did the craftspeople do an amazing job, but also the library social media staff respected my desire not to be on video because I was in messy hair weekend mode. 😂

How can every US holiday for the past 4+ years have “record travel”? Media outlets never contextualize the “record” being set or broken, and I have a hard time believing that the number of air travelers just keeps increasing exponentially.
