Recording, mixing, label, and distro in Pittsburgh, PA.
I would swap 3 and 1 in that order, but only because I'm still salty about how they do Harry dirty in 3.

So glad to be seeing posts like this already, because I've been going back and forth on buying this because I don't wanna give any game 60-70 of my broke ass dollars unless it's really compelling

Fuck me this is bleak.
But please, do continue to use GenAI slop thumbnails for your YouTube videos, or your album art, or your book covers or whatever else. I'll continue to refuse to watch/listen/read any of them, knowing already they're not worth the time & that you're a disappointing lazy hack.

Everyone should also get the soundtrack because it is a haunting and beautiful piece of work even by itself
I've said it before and I'll say it again, everyone should play 1000xResist

Well, in trying to find the article in which he was optimistic about using AI to speed up game dev I instead found this one where he seems to have more mixed feelings about it, so maybe he's not gone fully pro AI: www.ign.com/articles/nie...
NieR Director Yoko Taro Worries Game Creators Will Lose Jobs Because of AI, Leading To Them Being 'Treated Like Bards' - IGN
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in games has been discussed more and more lately. NieR series director Yoko Taro has weighed in too, expressing concern that it could lead to game creators losi...

I probably say almost weekly that the first two of those games are an absolute drag to play(the ideas are there, but the execution is not, and now Yoko Taro is an AI bro which is unrelated but important), but the OSTs are just one banger after another.

I'm 37 and I've seen the first one probably a dozen times in my life, but never the sequels. I've heard #2 is bad and just assumed that to be the case with #3. Can I skip #2 and not miss anything watching #3?

Postal clerk is my day job, and I'm not even surprised. I spend some chunk of every day trying to explain to customers some absurd happenings or inexplicable actions carriers have taken, often with less information than this post provided

Far more important than who's listening to what Metallica albums: why does Lars look like he's Mr. Ballen's dad?

More than a label, we're also a #Signalis stan account. A game that anyone who loves horror and over analyzing things should experience.

It is one of those special Bandcamp Fridays. While we've got things rolling for later this year (for which there will be announcements soon), we've only got two published bands to plug at the moment:

Me naming songs in progress after whatever I'm drinking at the moment I opened Pro Tools then wondering a week later, "What the fuck is oat milk tea 11?"

I would sooner voice every character myself than shoot myself in the foot this way. Forgetting all the other AI problems for a moment: AI voices still sound *terrible* and would wreck the immersion that's necessary to good horror.

Tangentially related to this label due to a music/sound project I won't be able to shut the fuck up about in the future: Justin is an awesome human doing awesome work in accessibility right now, today.

Remeron/mirtazapine. It works miracles on intrusive thoughts when taken before bed and causes 30-45 minutes of drowsiness (at least for me) about half an hour after I take it.

Before that, I had mental exercises I ran through. Hoops to jump through that sometimes lead to unconsciousness.
