My parents were both teachers so they made a point of making it educational and memorable. We also went to every capital in every province (except Toronto because he didn’t like big cities) and many historic sites like the last spike and the Plains of Abraham.

When I was 8 my family took a ‘Cross Canada’ trip. We made a point of dipping our feet in the Atlantic in Cape Spear Nfld, Pt Pelee in Ont. At the time, I lived in BC so the Pacific was no biggie (but I’ve been to Tofino). Farthest north is Hazelton, BC. I’d like to experience 24 hr sunlight.
