my media literacy was kinda garbage up until i got really depressed, started writing poetry, went "oh huh, art is a form of abstract self-expression," and then started viewing the weird niche art people make a lot more closely and sincerely

this is pretty interesting. periodic exposure to very brief (2ms) flashes of light for an extended period of time can, while not making you feel less subjectively sleepy, suppress melatonin secretion and delay sleep onset by ~2hrs on average

i was just sent the craziest video ever. this dude somehow made sharp commentary about trans healthcare, presented a better understanding of how hrt works than most doctors, AND THEN TOOK ESTROGEN FOR A MONTH.
