Alex Pretti wasn't killed by rhetoric, he was killed by two masked CBP agents shooting him 10 times in the back after they had disarmed and pepper sprayed him.

Rhetoric didn't kill Renee Good either, a thug from ICE did that with a gun as she tried to avoid hurting him.
Homan: "I said back in March of this year [sic] that if the hateful rhetoric didn't stop I was afraid there would be bloodshed. And there has been."

Jeff Bezos took over the Washington Post Editorial Board and turned it into a mouthpiece for pro-corporate, pro-billionaire propaganda.

Now, WaPo is laying off hundreds of *real* journalists — including the reporter covering Amazon.

Democracy dies in billionaire hands.

It’s hard to put into perspective how truly massive the warehouse is that was recently sold by the Rockefeller Group to the Department of Homeland Security for $70 million to build a concentration camp in Surprise, AZ. Across the street is a huge neighborhood and a school. It’s 400,000-square-feet.

I don't know what's more heartbreaking...that the current president of the United States raped and very likely killed children...or that approximately 1/3rd of this country doesn't care.

Either way, I weep for our country. & my heart breaks for the victims.

The Kennedy Center is a living monument to JFK and to the belief that art, culture, and shared experience bind our country together.

It is NOT a private real estate project.

It is NOT a campaign prop.

It is NOT a vanity playground for demolition.

And it certainly does NOT belong to Donald Trump.

Trump made it clear he wants to call off the midterms.

He wished he had seized ballot boxes after he lost the 2020 presidential election, and turned the DOJ into an extension of his political will.

We need to realize it's up to us to defend free and fair elections, @marcelias.bsky.social writes.

Stop asking if they’re “rigging the election.”
They. Already. Are.
But the most dangerous part isn’t the mechanics. It’s the message.
They’re doing it in public to make you swallow the real lie:
That voting is pointless.
If they can get you to quit before Election Day… they don’t even have to win.
