What started as a half assed joke because my middle nephew is a pest and refuses to tell me what he wants for gifty days had turned into an hour side quest with a daydream weeklong adventure touring the creameries of Oregon. At least he isn't getting one large wheel this time 🤣

It's bad enough i have to get photographed by tsa every trip. I don't have any interest in being seripticously being identified as I go about my day to day.
Facial recognition technology is dangerous when it works and when it doesn't.

The last thing we need is Big Tech, the government, or anyone else capturing our biometrics as we go about our lives.

Meta must not add this unreliable and invasive technology to its glasses.

Good. It's the ioc who isn't compromising. His helmet would be political if it said f russia or something to that effect instead of honoring his fellow athletes who have passed.

It was an inspiring week, but I need a long ass nap before I can act on it. Hopefully it doesn't evaporate while I snooze.

Drove over Harrison pass today to #rubylakerefuge in 2wheel drive. The pass should be closed this time of year. The roads were dry enough for kicking up July dust behind the truck.

Leaving dogs for a week for work. Trying having someone come to the house to check them 2x a day. Clip them together as he won't jump the fence. tested the hrs Friday and Saturday- escape artist broke open a gate & took her brother on walk about. Today he ditched his collar & she left tether&all 🤦‍♀️

Cumbia and ranchero class went well today, but shit I'm sore. No dancing to all the dancing was not the brightest idea I've had this week... but it's been fun.

Today, I was eating my lunch in the green room at #nationalcowboypoetrygathering when one of the performers turns to another apropos of nothing- bike shorts or g-string? Right as the other was drinking his beer. There was much blushing, beer exited nostrils, and the camera finally left the room.
