I understand the Hellaverse fandom has a rep that is partially earned thanks to the toxic fans, but this is why I hate generalizing and saying things like "the awful fandom".
Every fandom has bad eggs, but when you act like everyone is bad it alienates the people you could form a friendship with-

I hate that as a Hellaverse fan it’s impossible to be a fan of other things without people giving you flack. “You can’t join our fandom because you like this thing” is kinda crazy and something I haven’t really come across in my years of fandom, which dates back to mid 2000’s???
