My take is more in line with Stockholm syndrome. Ppl feeling gratitude that no one has been executed recently.

Was driving my kids to school and the first thing on the radio was reporting about Trump's video depicting the Obamas as apes and I think many people still don't fully appreciate what it means to have to raise Black children in a country where the president is so brazenly and consistently racist

The cognitive dissonance of growing up fundamentalist while knowing deep down that something was very very off is impossible to explain in words. Perhaps one thing these files will do is peel back a few more layers of lies. Bad truth is so much better than good lies.

The Republican position now appears to be that you have a constitutional right to openly carry a gun in public, unless you do so while expressing a view that the government dislikes, in which case the secret police can shoot you to death on the spot.
Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara says that the victim was a 37-year-old white man and US citizen with no criminal record and that he was a legally permitted gun owner.
