As a parent of two children with (unrelated) disabilities, I can say from first hand experience that Ed Dept was weak to the point of pathetic. IDEA and 504 were already basically unenforceable. Dept of Dev Disabilities? Same. Parents prevail <10%. Parents are angry. Kids suffer. Change necessary

So true that. And many if not all institutions have historically benefited some, a minority of people. Not women, who earn less and were only allowed access to banking in the 1900’s. Not Black people, who still make less, still experience red lining. A long list, my brothe. long. 600 years long
