Interesting. Adam Boehler & President Juan Orlando Hernandez announced the DFC would back a $1B private investment in Honduras in July 2020. Boehler, who is close w Kushner, did a few squirrelly deals in 2020.
I suspect the ultimate reason for the pardon is related to Adam Boehler's work during the first term, which might have been what the feds were investigating Bukele for re: diverted aid.

Fentanyl. Drug Overdoses, including Fentanyl, are not even in the top 20 causes of death in the USA. Cancer, Diabetes, Covid, Heart Disease all in the top 10, and all have had their research funding cut. They aren't murdering just Venezuelans. However they are killing us much slower.
