There is no defense and no excuse for what Israel is doing. If it were any other country, we would not hesitate to call it genocide.
Genocide or not, it is a betrayal of all Jews, of our history, of Judaism, of our humanity. This Israel cannot be 'the Jewish state.' No Jewish state would do this.

Ghislaine Maxwell, lightly paraphrased:
'The man who controls my destiny was always a gentleman in all respects. I never saw him do anything bad. Also, there is no list of bad people for him to be on. You can depend on me to keep saying that, Mr. President, sir.'

Why isn't Mayor Cherelle Parker suing to stop the transit cuts?
SEPTA is sacrificing Philly's riders instead of serving them, and in a discriminatory way too. Similar suits have worked, points out the former city attorney who's done it.

Mayor mum on why she won't sue SEPTA
Instead of waiting on politicians in Harrisburg, Parker could go to court today and block SEPTA's 'Doomsday' cuts

SEPTA should continue to do its job: provide transit to the people. All of them — no cuts, no choosing riders to sacrifice. And keep doing that.
And if its money runs out, shut down.
SEPTA leadership is making this its own failure, when it's a failure of PA government.

SEPTA urges riders to start planning now for upcoming service cuts that begin on Aug. 24
SEPTA's self-imposed deadline expired Thursday, and now the transit agency is moving forward with deep service cuts and higher fares.

Every time an institution like @upenn.edu cuts a deal, it's handing Trump a win that strengthens him. Collaboration paves the road to fascism.

He'll just pick them off one by one.

So why aren't these universities banding together and rejecting these negotiations? That's called SOLIDARITY.

Once again, cruelty is the point.
In February alone, the national suicide hotline's program for LGBTQ youth—who are four times more likely to attempt suicide than their peers—received an average of 2,100 contacts per day.

Now the Trump administration is shuttering this critical resource.

Are universities as smart as elephants? Are major law firms as smart as elephants?

So far the elephants are way ahead.

Hang together, or most assuredly hang separately.
