Older puffball, mottled with brown spots, but still one whole Strange looking puffball. Instead of fully round, it's almost looking like a crystal, with square things growing from the center Old large brown mottled puffball, with two new ones growing about a foot away.

SCOOP: The Bureau of Land Management says the largest solar project in Nevada — the Esmeralda 7 mega-farm — has been canceled

The news was quietly dropped via a sudden website update with no public word from any of the companies involved or a statement from the agency

Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

We are witnessing the most lawless behavior by a leader in American history, just daily, extraordinary abuses of power. National Democrats must speak out in a loud and clear voice against Trump's escalating authoritarianism. It is time now.

EXTREMELY COOL BAT STUFF: A study out in Science today found that the greater noctule bat, Europe's largest, hunts and catches *migrating birds* while in flight. In at least one case, a bat climbed to more than 1200 feet, then chased a robin downward FAST until it caught it near the ground.
Greater noctule bats prey on and consume passerines in flight
Despite billions of passerines seasonally migrating during the night at high altitudes, only three bat species have been found to consistently tap into this rich prey resource. However, it remains unk...

I know :-( it's trying to find a different area of what to photograph. I know some people started photographing man hole covers :-) you'd be amazed how many different styles and variations there are.

Minneapolis will have parks and some bars / restaurants along the river. Fowl / birds, etc.

Any skyline, no matter how crowded, is a beautiful skyline.

(I'm practicing keeping up my spirits for when the field next door is transformed into a new subdivision...)

These dogs had some bad behavior during this summer, when one of the dogs nipped at a guest of the family. I'll look up when that was, because I skeeted about it.

"It is alright, the dog just got excited", bottom line.

For both the dogs and the parents of these dogs.

...kept the dog away. Neighbor said 'he just escaped'.

Nobody got hurt.

But this is a long-running issue. Dogs go crazy about anything.

From now on we'll be filming the dogs when we get onto and out of our driveway, in case something happens.

This behavior is not right...

So our neighbor has two German shepherds. They're something. When windows are open, when the parents are not at home, they have plexiglass to prevent the doggies to tear through the screen.

Today one of them escaped their backyard and charged my wife in our yard. Only a yell from the neighbor...

New Yorkers know Attorney General James for who she is: a champion for justice who fights relentlessly for the people. Donald Trump knows her only as an obstacle to his corruption.

My full statement:
New Yorkers know Attorney General James for who she is: a champion for justice who fights relentlessly for the people. Donald Trump knows her only as an obstacle to his corruption.

No one should be surprised that Donald Trump is employing fascist tactics—prosecuting his opponents, weaponizing the federal government, and attacking the very fabric of our democracy. And Trump should not be surprised when millions of Americans stand up to his authoritarianism and his greed.

If Trump wants to leverage baseless charges to visit political retribution on New York’s Attorney General, he’ll have to go through New Yorkers first. The Attorney General has had our back, time and again. We have hers.

I've been wondering why Dominion Voting Systems suddenly reached settlements with Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and One America News.

Turns out, it's been purchased by a Republican-owned election tech firm that insisted on it, per Axios.

What better way to steal the election than to buy the voting machines?

Republicans never give up on cheating. It might just work this time.

JFC. There's no winning here, right? It's just money, and the right wing wins because of all the monies.
