If he hadn’t had a gun, it would have been “he shouldn’t have been close to him”. If he hadn’t been close to him, it would have been “shouldn’t have been protesting.” If he was just walking home from getting a donut, it would have been “he should have avoided the area.”

They'll always find a reason

When government agents choose to mask themselves, use 5 year olds as bait, send people to countries where they don’t know the language, separate families and so on, the consequence of that is to be compared (rightly) to the gestapo. When they murder citizens, they prove the point.
Bovino: "When politicians, community leaders, & some journalists engage in that heated rhetoric we keep talking about, when they make the choice to vilify law enforcement calling law enforcement 'Gestapo' or using the term 'kidnapping,' that is a choice & there are actions & consequences."

I'm going through some of the tens of thousands of burrowing owl photos I took last year. Probably 99% of them are completely out of focus like this one. I get so attached to the owls that I just can't discard the bad photos, though. 🪶

We all saw the vids of the ICE officer initiate contact, assault Alex Pretti and the people around him, pepper spray him and attempt to detain w/ 5+ officers before ultimately shooting him in the back. Ten times.

And everyone in the administration from the top down called him a domestic terrorist.

"The most striking thing to me is that the the officer pushes a woman onto the ground and the man is trying to protect her from them and help her up when they tackle him and then shoot him. It’s one of the most upsetting things I’ve ever seen happen in America."

It will only get worse.

Absolutely reprehensible that AG Bondi is offering ICE stand down in exchange for access to voting rolls. Outrageous and disgusting. It shows ICE is in Minneapolis is not for law enforcement purposes. Instead it’s a way to stir up shit in blue states and extort them.
In the wake of another fatal shooting in Minneapolis.
AG Pam Bondi sends Gov. Walz a letter today making several asks including:
"Allow DOJ Civil Rights division access to state voter rolls"

And you sure as fuck don't get to lecture anyone about law and order when what you're actually defending is unchecked violence backed by a badge.”

In a study following 23 million people age 18-59 (pretty young) for 4 years…despite the fact that the ones who got the COVID vaccine were overall older and sicker at baseline, they not only had 74% lower risk of dying from COVID than the unvaccinated but 25% lower risk of dying from any other cause!

Every federal judge (and justice) should read the two letters from Chief Judge Patrick Schiltz in the church protest case—and what they tell us about the Department of Justice's litigation behavior.

Footage taken moments before a struggle shows that the man was filming, holding a phone in his right hand, backing up. His left hand is up, visible, palm facing out, as he backs away from the area. An agent uses his right hand, on the torso of the victim, pushing him back, while the man complies.

If the cops can kill you for legally carrying a gun, it is not legal to carry the gun.
Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara says that the victim was a 37-year-old white man and US citizen with no criminal record and that he was a legally permitted gun owner.
