the algorithm isn't built to favor a lot of small artists, but i try to use my page as more of a digital sketchbook to post my work and keep in one place; that helps me ignore the smaller numbers/interactions when the algorithm supresses my work— just know your art is wonderful and you're doing good

at the end of the day, please be safe!! help your fellow protesters, carry extra masks, water bottles, med supplies, etc. and look out for one another! it's important that your voices are not only heard, but everyone is supporting each other because you're all there for the same reason— love ya! • traffic cones are also good in a pinch when dealing with tear gas to somewhat contain the spread

• carry basic first aid and water!!! gauze, compression bandages, instant ice packs and medical tape will be your best friends (rubbing alcohol is good too— 90 prof. is also very flammable) (5)

• laser pointers ruin camera sensors (no matter how fancy the cameras are) and destroy retinas... just saying ;)

• saline solutions and milk of magnesia neutralize tear gas; sand is also good for smothering the actual gas from canisters, and cheap tupperwear bowls are good for containment (4)

• write important contacts on your arm in sharpie!!! if you have your phone, it's easier for you to be tracked or found by authorites observing everything

• burner phones are okay! esp important for documenting events— be mindful of those around you and blur the faces of other people (3/)

• plain clothes are important; you do not want to be identifiable to authorites— uv reflecting baclavcas, masks and plastic ponchos are vital as well

• like the plain clothing thing: cover your tattoos and remove piercings!!

• leave your phone at home— tell friends/family where you're going (2)
