The 1950 film “Treasure Island“ really shaped Disney. It was not only their first live movie.. it was remade twice by them, one with The Muppets, and the other an animated sci-fi film. It probably also inspired a Disneyland ride, that in itself became a massive film franchise.

I thought ”Terrifier“ was genuinely awful. It had no plot, there was no suspense, and it wasn’t even scary. From the start it’s like “look there’s a creepy clown, oh no now the clown is killing everyone in ultra violent ways for some reason..“. I dunno I may be a prude, but was not entertained by it

For Halloween night I might try a ”Terrifier” trilogy binge. Not seen them before. First movie is an hour and a half, the other two are two plus hours. So depends how I feel after the first one before proceeding with the second.

YouTube should make it so if you “LIKE” (thumbs up) a video, and “SUBSCRIBE” to the creators video, it removes those annoying graphics telling you to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE.

A problem with a lot of moderately budget horror films these days is how average they are. OK but not great, or bad in a boring way (IMO is the worse thing you can label a horror) . That “⭐️⭐️½” rating has been busy on my Letterboxd account.

Always have the worst luck picking horror films. I find something that sounds interesting, but it always ends up being being a psychological thriller with the pacing of an octogenarian luchadore in a legends match.
