i wish we could get the same reaction from "CSAM" or "child sexual abuse material" as we do from "child pornography" but i think maybe the technical language isn't working right now

I think one of the heartbreaking lessons I've learned, as a kid born in 1980, is that the pendulum of progress doesn't always swing up.
That's what we were promised as kids. On climate, equality and more. The fight was meant to be won.
It wasn't. And we weren't prepared for that.
