Watched 4 episodes of The American Revolution. WHAT AN EDUCATION! For one thing, can no longer consider 7/4/1776 the day of independence when there are 7 YEARS of brutal devastating war until it's achieved. It's just the day of declaring. The foreign aid from France's king (ironically) was crucial.
