Word to the wise: even if you aren't in a city under direct attack yet, you want to be developing these sorts of relationships NOW with sympathetic folks at local institutions.

Need to stress that this is indeed a big deal because figure skating is a *very* conservative sport. You could lose your Olympic spot for doing same sex doubles until a few years ago.
