When we say Fretless took 8 years, we really mean it took 8 years to find. Many games were started/abandoned.

When we started Fretless, Unity did not support aseprite files—it does now 🙏

We found amazing 3rd party tools which afforded rapid iteration of animations and tile maps.

The boss fights and animations are so damn cool, and the amount of customization with each of the instruments makes for tons of fun unique builds 👀 This game is so much fun
