An absolute joy to join @robgmacfarlane.bsky.social for the launch of 'Is a River Alive?'

He shared the story of his signing pen — filled with water from 108 waterways, including 102 collected during our March for Clean Water.

A powerful reminder of why rivers matter & why they need all of us. 💙

🤯3.5 MILLION tonnes of #toxicsludge are being dumped on UK farmland

This isn’t recycling. It’s pollution, and water companies are cashing in again.

They created this toxic sludge. Now they must pay to clean up their mess. 👇

Is your pet’s flea treatment harming your local river?

Shocking new research shows that many popular flea products are contaminating rivers across the UK.

🚫 For years, wet wipes have clogged sewers, fuelled fatbergs & choked our rivers.

Removing plastic wipes from shelves is progress — but a partial ban won’t fix the problem.

Plastic or not, wet wipes don’t belong in our waterways.

🗑️Bin the wipes; protect our rivers!

🚨 SHOCKING 🚨

A HUGE illegal waste dump has appeared between the A34 and River Cherwell, linked to organised crime.

Every rainfall risks toxins washing into the river.

We’re calling on the Environment Agency & Cherwell Council to act NOW.

Our rivers cannot wait. 👇👇
