I love the smell of the autumn
My wife is unflappable after 13 years together. She barely noted as I cut the top crust off my chicken pot pie and set it aside. She didn't raise an eyebrow as I spooned out the chunks of chicken and gave them to her. She huffed a bit as I explained that the chicken is my least favorite part.

Saw this little guy hanging in a gorgeous hibiscus plant during my recent vacation. Wife was shocked by my interest as I was afraid of snakes when she met me 13 years ago. But thanks to adorable & educational reels from snake keepers, I’m quite fond of them now.

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.

I really do think this might be the worst Supreme Court of all time, which is saying something for an institution that coexisted with slavery

These motherfuckers are even worse imo bc they are *also* out here using antebellum reasoning and pursuing antebellum goals but well post bellum!

This is an assault on the Reconstruction Amendments by a Neo-Confederate Court wedded to the far-right argument that those amendments were illegitimate and destroyed the original intent of the Founders, which was to create a white man's country

Justice Sotomayor dissenting on birthright citizenship case: "The gamesmanship in this request is apparent and the Government makes no attempt to hide it. Yet, shamefully, this Court plays along. Because I will not be complicit in so grave an attack on our system of law, I dissent."

If you’re an American should watch the Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown ep on Iran. A deeply humanizing look at a country full of people just like you and me. I watched it after Anthony died and it moved in ways that are hard to relay. I also immediately ran out to try kabob koobideh and tahdig.

The American people were lied to about Vietnam, with tragic consequences.

The American people were lied to about Iraq, with tragic consequences.

The American people are being lied to again today. We cannot allow history to repeat itself.
I loved this so, so much!
We are always looking forward to it. 🥲
Why are sneezes so infuriating? They triple the flare pain. Every. Time. #fibromyalgia

Marketing measurement often fails because teams don’t communicate.

On this week’s AdExchanger Talks🎙️, behavioral economist Julian Runge explains why you need leadership buy-in — and a culture of experimentation — to make it work.

How does your team handle failure in measurement?
The Behavioral Economist’s POV On Marketing Measurement | AdExchanger
Here's one easy way to do better marketing measurement: Get an exec to endorse a culture of experimentation, says Northwestern's Julian Runge.
