it’s one thing when it’s put into the world as a community activity, but what really disturbs me is how common it has become to take someone’s work of art posted in an individual capacity and manufacture a trend out of it. That’s someone’s work, did you stop to consider it on its own merits?
its worse on twitter but it seeps through here but i am very over the trendification of visual media. why are we making “trends” out of other artists works and photos, which are 1:1 copies (or traces) with nothing changed but the characters used. i don’t get it
