Diane Keaton was a big supporter of the animal shelter I volunteered at through high school and college, even rescuing a loose dog herself at one point. She was genuinely so kind when I met her at a telethon and spent the before/after of this shot vacillating between talking to us and the puppy.

Yes, each audition is reviewed by multiple judges! You are not someone's singular opportunity and we have a lot of behind-the-scenes math on how scoring works that keeps things balanced. There's a full rubric that also helps keep things objective where possible
