Thanksgiving does kinda suck but it isn't turkey's fault! The bird just catches strays from the association. It kicks ass at the Christmas table too!
turkey does not suck. turkey's fine, whatever, it's a tool. hot take: what sucks is thanksgiving, especially as practiced by many many middle class americans. it is a steaming poisonous stew of performance anxiety, unwelcome guests, poor communication, unreasonable/unclear expectations.

I'm sick of this psyop that turkey sucks. I can only assume it derives from Big Ham. Oh, turkey is too dry? Learn how to brine properly, put some gravy on it, go for the dark meat. BuT iT's ToO bLaNd! Any protein can be too bland if you're balls at cooking it!
