Work in politics. Here to provide political and societal witticisms…or the closest equivalent I can manage. Mainly UK, European and US politics, although I’m an equal opportunities satirist.

Also an amateur - and slightly experimental - cook.

The European contribution to NATO, lest anyone forgets.
If a thousand monkeys were sat down in front of a thousand typewriters…they too would think that Daily Telegraph writers were absolutely fucking mental.

And to think these people get paid - handsomely so - to write this shite.

Ah, the classic “Oh, I didn’t mean *you*” defence. Too little, too late, you demented orange cunt.

We don’t forget the sacrifice of our soldiers, and we sure as hell don’t forget or forgive fascist fucks who try to piss on that sacrifice.

Fast forward 12-18 months from now, when Trump is breaching whatever agreement is made on Greenland and is demanding Iceland too.

Karoline Leavitt will be on stage saying “The President quite clearly said in his Davos speech that he wanted Iceland, and you all failed to take him seriously”
January 22, 2026 at 8:10 AM
Mark Rutte has no authority to negotiate anything relating to the future of Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark.

And if the “deal” does involve ceding chunks of territory to the US - whether for military deployment or mining - it would be nothing more than a modern day Sudetenland.

Today on Sesame Street, we’re learning about Iceland and Greenland. Iceland is not Greenland, and Greenland is not Iceland.

And neither of them are fucking American, and never will be 🖕🏻

🇮🇸🇬🇱
Trump is now confusing Greenland and Iceland: "They're not there for us on Iceland, that I can tell you. Our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland. So Iceland has already cost us a lot of money."

NATO Article 5 has been invoked once in the alliance’s history - by the US, after an attack on the US. And never forget what that meant:

United Kingdom: 456 killed
France: 301 killed
Canada: 158 killed
Germany: 54 killed
Italy: 53 killed
Denmark: 43 killed
Poland: 40 killed
Spain: 34 killed
