Some plays, however short, hurt like hell to write. Got the first draft of "Nana's Last Jam" done. Managed to leaven the sorrow with some comedy. A little haggis can go far to temper tragedy. Or so I hope.

If the Sep. 2 boat really had "narco-terrorists" on board, questioning the survivors would have been a way to learn about how the organization worked, where more drugs were stashed, etc. But this isn't a counter-terrorism campaign. It's a shooting gallery with helpless targets.

What did the Nazis do with valuable items of Jewish people they deported or sent to concentration camps? They did the same thing that Nazi ICE rats are doing with the property of Hispanic people.
