Tyrants always gain control of the press, confuse the public so that they do not know what is true anymore, and scrub both history and economic news to match their lies of how great the system is under them.
Epstein Files as a testing ground for cancelling economic reports?
Lets see if the playbook is the same - first delay, then blame Democrats, then...?

Trump hates doing any work, so he will always seek a quick, poor quality solution. It was the same with the 21 step Gaza quasi-peace plan, where the second step required Hamas to relinquish their weapons, which of course they have no intention to do.

Trump’s “solutions”: quick, easy credit for him

We’re used to including Stephen Miller as an agent of tyranny, but must similarly add Russel Vought as a persistent, #Project2025 tyranny specialist. All of these 4 guys despise citizens having a voice, or a dribble of prosperity.
Things that make you go hmmm.

ICE thuggery at its finest.
To quote the person who filmed this unconscious mom who was tazed while already in zip ties in front of her small child and then tossed her like a corpse into the trunk: “this is fucked up”

Epstein was an American-made monster.

An underqualified striver who got rich selling young girls and tax evasion to powerful men.

He got richer by blackmailing them in the service of even more powerful men.

Epstein’s not an aberration. He’s the result of a culture that celebrates despicable men.👇

There is mounting evidence that Trump is aging rapidly. He walks strangely, he claps without moving his left arm, and was put into an MRI recently.

I’m hoping the Epstein files contains solid evidence that someone suffering under Epstein’s control pleaded with Trump for help, which he refused to provide. So it would prove he knew about specific abuses AND did not report them.

#Trump and #Vance trash talking effective and safe pain relievers, #Tylenol and #ibuprofen, are using part of a #dictatorship strategy to make people doubt they can ever know the truth about anything. It makes people less hopeful, more afraid and more pliable. #Project2025 #ShittyPresident

I agree with the idea that Trump should never have been on the ballot in 2016. The Republican National Committee showed terrible ethics and lack of civic responsibility when Trump became the presidential candidate.

Trump hates doing any work, AND, he disrespects anyone who’s not rich, so of course he won’t make the effort to create a real alternative to the Affordable Care Act.

A #WealthTax is needed to return a slice of prosperity to the society that generates 2 new billionaires a day but also deepening poverty and social strife. #WinnerTakeAllCapitalism is an aberrant version of capitalism, and requires a wealth tax to reset the weakening of labour in the economy.

Up until Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Brian Mulrooney there were three partners in capitalism: government, business and labor. Reagan and the bunch unfettered business and reduced government involvement in the economy, so of course Business has abused labour and monopolized prosperity.

If Trump could be counted on to keep his word, then he would not be Trump, and every other country in the world would not be trying to find a more trustworthy business partner than America. Trump lies and changes his mind on a whim, but also he does it to be mean, to screw with other people. #hater

America does not need #socialism, but a return to the version of capitalism where workers and regular people shared in the prosperity of the nation. What America has right now is called Winner Take All Capitalism. It has funnelled almost all prosperity to the rich. So we need a #WealthTax to reset.

Corporate lawyers are some of the smartest, trickiest people. They find clever ways to siphon almost all the prosperity to corporations, and to minimize regulations. They work closely with lobbyists to twist politicians into corporate yes-men.
