Trying to not let Trump have free rent in my head.
Maybe depends on what the plan is. If the plan was to incentivize favourable press then the plan possibly works.
Maybe putting a dozen narcissistic poser Fox hosts in charge of sprawling federal agencies with millions of combined employees and vastly important responsibilities with enormous power wasn’t the greatest plan.

It is horrible but... IMO the immigration crackdown possibly is the most popular policy Trump has. Immigration certainly was one factor in the dramatic defeat of the Democrats in Nov 2024. (Saying dramatic defeat because there was no way Trump should have won).
A new federal directive by Mehmet Oz allows the sharing of Medicaid applicant data with DHS effective immediately, rescinding previous “interagency integrity” firewalls. This forces mixed-status families into an impossible calculus: access life-saving medical care or remain invisible to enforcement.
NEWS: Medicaid Data Now Flows to ICE
Effective today, a new federal directive allows immigration enforcement to access state healthcare enrollment data, TPS ends for thousands of Burmese war refugees, plus Kristi Noem explainer video.

About this Epstein stuff... Bill Gates was right in there with all the other pedos. All those billions destroy your soul. Bill Gates. Trump. The other billionaires. None of them had the strength of character to stay away from what was obviously a very bad place.

Ukraine tried to align itself with the west. With the United States and Europe. Question is now can Europe even help? We know the United States cannot offer consistent help to any nation. There was help under Biden but things change. The USA cannot offer a consistent foreign policy position.

What if, just what if, this is not how it happens. In my cynical mind I can imagine that Putin has more direct communication with Trump. Possibly through Melania. Possibly just by picking up the phone. Putin tells Trump how it is going to go down, not the other way around.

The stock market's gains are being overwhelmingly driven by seven Big Tech companies who have invested heavily in AI, which has made tech oligarchs even wealthier.

But when that AI bubble bursts, the rest of us will be stuck holding the bag.

Here is my peace plan for Ukraine/Russia.

1. Russia gets the fuck out of Ukraine.

2. Putin goes on trial in the Hague.

3. Russia pays everyone for everything.

4. Trump gets impeached, convicted, and sent to jail.

Thanks for your attention to this matter.

The world cannot allow Trump to make any "deals" with Russia. Trump is obviously compromised by Putin. Whatever hold Putin has over Trump it cannot be allowed to sacrifice Ukraine to Putin's expansionist goals. The American people have to realize something is not normal between Trump and Putin.

Should the other NATO countries even allow Trump to be negotiating a trade deal with Putin? It is obvious that Trump is compromised when it comes to Putin. Europe and Canada talk a good talk when it comes to Ukraine, but I’m not sure about the actual military commitment.

Why would Putin make any concessions? He knows Trump wants a peace prize and doesn’t care about how he gets it.

Not the only turkey that has been pardoned this term.
The good news: the president has pardoned the turkey.

The bad news: two hours later the turkey was arrested for running a ponzi scheme and committing acts of gross sexual imposition.

Record beef prices are putting America's love of protein to the test — & the verdict is that demand is largely holding up. Shoppers are still buying beef, though there are shifts in where & what they eat (more at home, cheaper cuts).

Trump’s Beef Price Battle Meets America’s Insatiable Demand
President Donald Trump is on a campaign to bring down beef prices. But the nation’s powerful demand for protein is making that goal difficult.

Can the United States survive? Trumps legacy may not be Make America Great Again. Trump may be the President that saw the USA split into 2 even 3 nations. Cetainly there remains a question if the US can survive as a democracy. I am not sure Trump cares as long as the Trump family makes money from it

Not much has been said about Trump not attending the G20 because the G20 was held in South Africa. I suspect there was more to it than that.

What is the G20?
