Sorry but making coffee while reading an alert that black journalists were detained for doing their job is not normal. Especially when you went to bed last night after reading the president is suing the irs for $10b, while still grappling with the overall realization democracy is actively dying

Every day, actually every hour, it’s something. Life is really so surreal right now. We are living through outrageous act after outrageous act and are expected to push through our normal routines and I’m feeling a way. How are we supposed to keep on like this???

Whew. Jeremiah was really going through it when God had him prophesing in Judah. But his honest conversations with God are kind of comforting. Expressing his sorrow *and* complaints *and* anger *and* steadfast devotion simultaneously. We really can lay it all at His feet 🥹

In light of Project 2026’s release, I’ve spent a good amount of time thinking about what would happen if we get to a handmaid’s tale point. First hope is that I could make it to Canada. Second hope is that I would be old enough to be a Martha. After that, I would hope to be a barmaid at Jezebel’s 😐
