Life-long Democrat and Colorado native posting from northern Colorado.
A couple days ago in the housewares dept at Walmart, I saw a woman take a kitchen tool off the rack and use it to scratch her back under her shirt.

She saw my face as I watched her and she just laughed out loud.

It is sunny and breezy today, which means the remainder of the snow will melt on the streets.

Yay.

Name this rock.
This feature isn't named, but it should be. Even in a landscape of rock, it stands out.

Oh, I love this.

The hiker ❤️❤️❤️
My wife looks at this shot from #Sedona “That’s a cool shadow of a hiker on the rock…” I didn’t see it until then. Was just a shadow to me. Anyway, for #Stunday - what do you think? #photography #landscapephotography #nature

I have a small jug made from thick plastic that contains the remainder of the paint of which I painted my house.

I cannot get the screw top lid off.

What TOOL would you use to poke a hole through said thick plastic to get just enough paint out to paint over some caulking I did a week ago?

Opinion:

The "toothpick method" to test if your baked item is fully baked is a flawed and unreliable method.

Don't you love it when people talk down to you like you are a total idiot?

/not
During winter you won't have that anyway.
pay attention, by the beginning of Sept it already is getting darker much earlier anyway, & that's 2 months b4 the time change.
Pple seem 2 think if we keep the manufactured DST it will stay light until 9 pm.
It doesn't
In Oct b4 the change sun sets a 6 pm

Dilemma.

All the advice on aging is that you need to get out and socialize more, but the more time I spend by myself, the less tolerant I am of other people.

Socializing is simply not pleasurable and not beneficial to my peace of mind.

It is amazing to watch these powerful people capitulate to Trump and play the games to cater to his ego.

They are playing along to be in his good favor, but destroying all credibility for themselves.
Countries attempting to curry favor with the US president are advised to give him something ugly covered in gold: either a dildo with a large round ball at the top or a medal that resembles a dog's proof of rabies vaccination. Or both.

King Charles, Camila, William and Kate were all laughing it up with Trump just a few months back.

I think the King's stance on Putin is disingenuous.
#UKnews #PutinsRussia 🏴‍☠️🤡- Last night at State Dinner in Windsor Castle, King Charles turned it into a strategic message aimed at #VladimirPutin 🏴‍☠️🤡 declaring: “The United Kingdom & Germany together stand w/Ukraine & bolster Europe against threat of further Putin's aggression”

So, I tried the reboot method, but it would come back up. The light came on, but nothing happened on the screen.
Tried it twice more.
Nothing.
Crawled on the floor, took off the cover, glared at the components.
Tried another reboot.
It came right up and no ticking sound.
It's a Christmas miracle.
My PC has developed a ticking sound - like a time bomb.

Crazy walk.

We left around 1:15. I was bundled up, hat, gloves, neck warmer, heavy coat.
The sun came out and within 15 minutes, I had peeled off everything.
Then the front came thru, the temps dropped 15°F, the wind was gusting.
The wind gusted for the rest of the 3.5 mile walk.
