Kobe alert!

It may be hard to believe, but the Lakers (the LA Lakers, not their G-League affiliate) have a Kobe in their starting lineup tonight.

Kobe Bufkin earned the call and is playing right now.

They're down 30 to the Spurs but Kobe just got signed to the big club through next season!
Friday morning G-League today! And I still kinda can’t get over that the star of the Lakers G-League team is a guy named Kobe Bufkin.

(Also no disrespect to his game. He scores about 27 a game and has 20 at halftime.)

Got to see the monks pass by as they walked through Arlington on their 2,300-mile Walk for Peace this afternoon.

This is near the end for them, as they will be in Washington tomorrow, before heading into Maryland for a bus back home to their monastery in Texas.

Maybe it’s not extreme.

Maybe we should follow their lead more.

They literally added Jason Myers so you can actually vote for the true MVP!

@ NFL get on Bluesky so I can yell at you for being cowards for not letting me vote for Jason Myers for MVP!

Sorry but I don’t like the Cadillac F1 livery. Way too Mercedes-like for my take.

Stefon Diggs? Quick to anger and throwing a punch at somebody?

I’ll hold my tongue.

The kickoff rule isn’t perfect but it actually is way better than the previous status quo.
February 9, 2026 at 2:30 AM
The NFL doesn’t let you vote for rightful Super Bowl MVP Jason Myers and this is anti-kicker discrimination!

And the women’s team:
- the daughter of Chinese immigrants who rebuffed an aggressive campaign to get her to skate for China
- the daughter of an Italian immigrant embryologist mom who named her after a Michelle Pfeiffer character
- the pansexual daughter of a Texas cop (who is her biggest fan)
This year, the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Men's Team is represented by:
• the son of Ukrainian Junior World Champion skaters in Florida who like Papa John's
• the son of Russian World Champion skaters in Connecticut
• the son of Uzbek Olympic skaters in Virginia

That's what makes America great.
This year, the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Pairs Team is represented by:
• A Japanese and Chinese Hawaiian
• A Michigan guy (You'll notice a trend here)
• A Hong Kong and Taiwanese Texan
• A Japanese American and Army soldier who is studying to become a chaplain!
