More cleaning out.
One of my favorite dead magazines. Great writers, photographers and production. And @mikespin.bsky.social too!

Reskeet with a time you looked cool.

A reminder that 15 years ago, Toyota was using one of their lowest priced vehicles to promote their performance parts. The world needs more low cost race cars. I would love to daily this sucker.

Cleaning out some old files. I remember being at the PRI conference when the new B-Spec showroom stock series was announced w manufacturer involvement. Fairly low cost and the cars were cool. A couple of years later I was able to track one of the Mazdas at MMC. Seriously fun. I still want one!

Since Saab is in the news, it reminded me of this.

Back in 2010, when Saab showed off the new 2nd gen 9-5 sedan at Monticello Motor Club, the classic Sonetts (II and III) parked out front were far more interesting. At least to me.

87 years since Kristallnacht, we remember the victims and impact of these horrific antisemitic attacks, and we are reminded of the consequences when hate goes unchecked.

May the memory of the Kristallnacht victims be a blessing. Never forget, and never again.

Watching @barackobama.bsky.social stumping for @mikiesherrill.bsky.social in New Jersey. He can still bring it…and far better than most of today’s party leaders.

Met this dude today. A 4-horn sheep is like a 6-wheel G-Wagen. Both bizarre and cool at the same time.

This might be the most awkward looking Bronco I've ever seen.

We’ve been talking about this for a while. With high interest rates, average monthly payment of $750, average loan length approaching 70 months, with some loans at 96 mos, most buyers will be upside down for a very long time. This is going to be bad.
WSJ: “.. the portion of subprime auto loans that are 60 days or more overdue on their payments hit a record of more than 6% ..”

Based on these job suggestions, LinkedIn seems to have my number. Cars, beer and senior living, with a side helping of Judaism.

Good and weird spots on our last day in Florence. The R5 looks so good. The ZhiDou? Not so much.

First time seeing one of these. Owned by a Cashmere Goat farmer in Tuscany who is one of the most badass women I have ever met. She loves it. And it only cost 22k.

The Leon drives great btw.
