My local newspaper had a long history of exceptional town-focused journalism..until it was gobbled up and hollowed out by a giant media empire. It sucks now. But every once in a great while, it serves up something of interest. Like this random Parsh pic.

Cleaning out some old files. I remember being at the PRI conference when the new B-Spec showroom stock series was announced w manufacturer involvement. Fairly low cost and the cars were cool. A couple of years later I was able to track one of the Mazdas at MMC. Seriously fun. I still want one!

Since Saab is in the news, it reminded me of this.
Back in 2010, when Saab showed off the new 2nd gen 9-5 sedan at Monticello Motor Club, the classic Sonetts (II and III) parked out front were far more interesting. At least to me.

We’ve been talking about this for a while. With high interest rates, average monthly payment of $750, average loan length approaching 70 months, with some loans at 96 mos, most buyers will be upside down for a very long time. This is going to be bad.
