UK Kings have literally no power, in reality there isn't too much in that regard between the two. Both FPTP, both two houses, both fully representative democracies, in theory but probably not in practice, for decades.

I'm surprised it's as few as that. Derbyshire lost one on Wednesday and are about to lose another if he doesn't show up this month. Other peripheral councils have lost many.

You seem to have missed his drift completely. He's discussing strengthening the US constitution so a self coup can never happen again. I have no idea what he'll do about Palestine, his thread is about something else.

This is obviously true, why have so few big leaguers said it?

The Democratic Party has some very big self searches to do.

The run up to this started in January 2020 and was an obvious risk. No effective action was taken.

I'm kinda embarrassed to still own an account, I never use it but for talking to my phone company, my energy provider, royal mail, bank, etc. It's literally the only place they'll listen and immediately provide help.

They do false equivalence galore where there is none and air it as "balanced news" (the economic case for and against Brexit; the case for and against net zero), the loony side usually presented by Farage or one of his minions.

Then they ignore real equivalence.

Why all the dozens of BBC broadcasts featuring families of hostages re entering Israel, and literally none with those "prisoners" (aka hostages) re entering Palestine?

This is typical of the issues I have with our national broadcaster.
