I know I'm not working as many hours now, but if work could get me on a consistent sleep schedule for at least a week-by-week basis that would really do wonders for me.
My time management has been shit and it's mostly because I can't settle into a consistent rhythm.

Still thinking about this as I settle into Fedora as a daily driver for my main rig.
Probably going to have to reinstall to do all the backup and encryption stuff but as far as the whole issue of AI code goes, I'm obviously not thrilled about it seeing as it's one of the primary reasons for me to+

Then again I may end up switching off of Fedora in the future depending on how that whole "allowing AI code contributions" thing shakes out. I'm still on Fedora 42 and waiting to see how 43 fares.
I'm gonna laugh my ass off if the whole situation ends up making me switch to Arch.

I lack a proper creative outlet for all the feelings I have right now and I'm still not quite sure how to solve it.

Schumer said the Dems will "keep fighting". Keep fighting their own voters? Keep fighting off effectiveness? Keep fighting being held accountable for anything? As far as I can tell the Democratic leadership is good at one thing only now, which is sending fundraising messages to my phone.

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

People believe that when you're LGBTIQ+ you come out once, but the reality is that every time you meet a new person, you have to study them to decide if it's a safe space to say it or not

There's a whole generation that learned irony before sincerity and now they're trapped. Can't be earnest without a layer of self-deprecation. Can't be enthusiastic without signaling awareness of how cringe enthusiasm is.

One thing about KDE that I didn't like at first but came around on was that by default, clicking and dragging an image from a web browser to a folder in Dolphin doesn't just save the file, but opens a context menu that then allows you to do so. Felt like an extra step that got in my way at first.

If there's one thing I can say about myself in a moment like this, it's that I'm incredibly strong for choosing to be here. It all hurts but I'm so fucking stubborn that I know it would take a lot for me to give up now. A lot more than they have to throw at me.
Another day, another "I did the things I had to, now I'm going to curl up and pretend the world doesn't exist until I have to go back to work tomorrow"
I'm not going anywhere. It's going to get better. It has to.

Michiganders, this is serious business! We're already seeing DTE try to push a new data center through near Ann Arbor and Saline without a chance for public comment! This WILL impact not only our land and water, but our energy bills! SAY NO.
Governor Whitmer is trying to sell Michigan out to OpenAi and Sam Altman, completely ignoring the threats of Ai.
To all Michiganders, call and message her office and tell her NO to OpenAi! 🚫🤖

I fucking called it. People told me WotC wouldn't use AI for MtG art because "the art is a big reason people collect the cards".
My brother in Christ, do you think the executives and techbros talking in their ears actually care about what you want?
I don't even give a shit about MtG and I'm mad.

I'm very disappointed of this avatar set from an art point of view: we have screenshot from the anime, and now they recruit AI artist to work on illustration ... #mtg
I'm really curious and suspicious if it is or not AI

The biggest thing that my Fedora install on my main gaming rig is missing is a proper setup for backups. Mint comes with Timeshift but it seems the process is more involved with Fedora, or at least it seems like that to me as a newbie. Once I get that figured out I'll be a lot more comfortable.

Got bored earlier and took a few typing tests. My lowest score was around 41 wpm, and my highest was 64 wpm, but on average I'm doing around 50-55 wpm, which from what I understand is pretty good, above average, and about what I expected. I never considered my typing "fast" but I'm not bad at it.

Having a bit of executive dysfunction today but I did just work a shitton right after BLFC and the laundry is getting done, so I think I'm allowed today.

To the customer who coughed in my face at work 2 days ago, I'm now sick on my days off because of you.
If anyone is going to give me a sore throat it's supposed to be my boyfriend! Incredibly inconsiderate of you, lady.
