Big Brother is dissecting you.
Every day, Americans are bombarded with the bad news of Trump 2.0, and it is exhausting to keep track of and absorb each new outrage. That is the clear intent.

When one is caught in the crossfire, it is hard to see, let alone address, the big picture.
Donald Trump and the deconstruction of America
Don't let the daily outrages obscure the big picture.

Hassett is a big-time crypto monger. Y'know, one of the ordinary folks.
Hassett: "On one of the Sunday shows, the anchor criticized the fact Walmart said the Thanksgiving dinner is cheaper by about $10. Then he said, 'Oh yeah, but they substituted generic stuff,' as if having a generic something is a crime for ordinary folks! It shows how out of touch these people are."

No doubt there is friction when Speaker Johnson daily collides with the Peter Principle. And his greasy fealty to the President does not fully lubricate all the points of friction. Hence, his colleagues grow weary of an incompetent lap dog.

Merit badges aren't enough. The Scouts must hop aboard the anti-trans bandwagon. Because there shall be no "gender confusion" in Pete Hegseth's War Department. This will disappoint many Scouts and Scout alumni (parents), but it's a self-inflicted Trumpian wound. So, yea!

One thing is clear: When Trump offhandedly excused the killing of Jamal Khashoggi by saying, “things happen,” he presaged his reaction in the event some MAGA wingnut fires a bullet at Sen. Elise Slotkin or Sen. Mark Kelly. Trump will declare, without an inkling of moral regret, "things happen."
This is a new and dire development in the ongoing American constitutional crisis. The voters, Congress, and, yes, the U.S. military must all now be more vigilant than at any time in our modern history.

Redaction is the governing dynamic of despotism. Anything can be hidden from public view. Nothing comes to light. And, eventually, people give up. Texas, a state that once took pride in its frontier courage and independence, now allows a corrupt governor to redact the sun.
"Months after fighting to keep secret the emails exchanged between Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s office and tech billionaire Elon Musk’s companies, state officials released nearly 1,400 pages ... . All but about 200 of the pages are entirely blacked out." talkingpointsmemo.com/news/greg-ab...
