This is the authoritarian tell:

If a judge rules against your preferred outcome, declare the judge illegitimate.

If that mindset takes hold, courts stop being guardrails and become targets.

Democracy cannot survive a government that believes the law only counts when it wins.

Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

A journalist asks about justice for Epstein survivors.
He responds by attacking her; her face, her demeanor, her smile.

When the question is dangerous, he goes after the woman asking it. Not her facts. Not her reporting. Her existence.

And survivors are watching.

So are our daughters.

I do not work as a firearms instructor, but I am licensed as one in Oklahoma. When I do teach people, I take line item 3 a step further, as it was how I was taught.

3. Don't pull your weapon unless you intend to shoot.

As Asha stated, firearms are not for threatening compliance.
Three rules in FBI firearm training:

1. Always point your weapon downrange
2. Do not point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot
3. Don’t put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to shoot

Guns are not for threatening compliance for unarmed people doing things you don’t like
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

It’s important to realize that the subtext of Trump freaking out at Kaitlan Collins when she asks him what he’d say to the Epstein survivors is that she may in practice be asking what he’d say to the *Trump* survivors, and they both know that. A well worded question
This isn’t some anonymous tip. This is sworn testimony, under penalty of perjury, from someone who said Trump threatened to kill her if she exposed Epstein’s sexual abuse.
