Been working on what will be the 2nd illustration in the book! Coloring peaches is a lot of fun! The amount of mixing & blending colors absolutely delights my inner child (I loved mixing colors when I was little, as you can see with some of my childhood ornaments from when I was three)!

In An Impossible Dream there are some really minor characters that you rarely if ever see who have names, but the reasoning is because you're following Sare & her 3 friends & I wanted there to be a sense/ reminder that there are about 50 other girls they're sharing the space with.

In A Dance of Bow & Blade, Robyn is known for dressing in green. Scarlet tends to stick with reds.

In my Be Series, I always picture Sare in blues. A lot of it has to do with the blue butterfly she interacts with in An Impossible Dream & it's symbolism.
