One thing I do as a spec. ed para is write notes of #affirmations and #praise. My go to ones are: “I LOVE how your brain works!” And “you can do hard things”

Thank you for making sure information was accurate! I genuinely appreciate the corrections, I have adhd and dyslexia and I often make mistakes regarding dates and spelling. I let my students correct me too! It actually helps our student/teacher relationship and makes them feel good! :)

Had a great classroom discussion today! We used weather to describe emotions and talked about how we have emotions we are not our emotions. And emotions come and go, just like weather.

I read today that Apple has removed international woman’s day (March 8) from its calendar - joining google with its removal of recognition months and national days. This. I posted an opinion of mine about not bullying children and used a fact based example to back my opinion, a stranger decided to cap locks yell and swear at me that my opinion was wrong 😅 ok it’s different from yours but why so aggressive? I ignored them but - yes this post!
