Putin pioneered this. No opposition is legitimate. Regular, decent, “ordinary” people cannot possibly be against us because only we represent “the real people.”

There’s not going to be any amendments. There was no win possible here because these off-season Democratic wins won’t stop Trump from vetoing any ACA amendments and sending them back to zero. They need 2/3 of both the House and Senate to override. He knew this. It’s checkmate. It always was.
