TrumpRx supposedly helps people pay less for prescription drugs.

In reality, it sends users to pharma giants’ websites, where they can pay out of pocket for certain medications.

One company that could benefit? BlinkRx, which has Donald Trump, Jr. on its board.

Funny how that works.

As someone whose ancestors fought for half a century for a better South Africa, I find this utterly infuriating.

The ANC created an annual holiday to commemorate a police massacre of 91 people in 1960 yet in 2026 celebrates a regime whose police just slaughtered 30,000+ protesters in a few days.

The thread from Mandelson to Epstein, Thiel and Putin is one that needs pulling till the whole tapestry of lies comes undone.
New on FT website:

Downing Street has refused to say whether Sir Keir Starmer knew Palantir was a client of Peter Mandelson’s lobbying firm when they both visited the company in Washington last February — ahead of it winning a £240mn UK government contract.

we really need to talk about how AI is being used to provide cover for government policy based on deadly misinformation — and how every one of us who writes about AI in health, but doesn't center that fact, is lending credence to the enterprise.

this is incredibly disappointing
“I would rather you vote for what is morally correct,” Davidson said.

“Don’t talk to me about my own morality,” DeLauro shot back.

“Don’t tell your constituents what they can and can’t talk to you about,” replied Rev. Nathan Empsall. “What you are voting for is not moral.”

A bit of advice. If you want to complement someone for their unique looks, you say they are striking. It's so much better than "odd" or "Weird" and less tepid than "Unique" and of course "Bizarre" is right out.

Striking, is nice.

Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail…

Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.

Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake.

something notable here is that he's actually getting pressed on it, which he normally does not, in part because you actually had Republicans express some outrage today

that doesn't happen if there isn't the realization, at some level, that he is now a deeply unpopular drag on all of them
Trump doubles down on his racist video: I looked at the first part and it was really about voter fraud... Then I gave it to the people. Generally, they look at the whole thing, but I guess somebody didn't.
