"It's the quid pro quo of life. We exist temporarily through what we take, but we live forever through what we give.”
Oh My!
Exactly 80 years ago this precise moment (8:40am Hamburg time, Nov. 30, 1945), German submarine commander Heinz-Wilhelm Eck and two of his former subordinates on the U-852 were shot by Allies in Hamburg for killing the survivors of a ship they had sunk. Pete Hagueseth needs to lawyer up immediately.
The Peleus War Crimes Trial
After sinking the Greek steamer Peleus in 1944, the captain ordered his crew to attack the survivors, three sailors survived and faced their attackers in a war crime trial.

"WhatAbout'ism" with adults is annoying.

Rather than patching a gaping wound, they'd stand over victims lecturing about flu shots.

Let's concentrate on the task at hand.

Don't confuse wealth creation with greed and materialism.

It's idealistic + useless to pretend the World economy can revert to some form of socialist barter system.

Capitalism has proven to be the fastest way out of poverty.

Black Communities should embrace and master it, not demonize and resist.

Who in #SteelerNation thought Rodgers was a good idea?

Who in #SteelerNarion still believes Tomlin can get them back to the Super Bowl?

If only our ELECTED "LEADERS" motivated, organized and guided Veterans, the Intelligence Community, Federal Workers towards the best strategies to end this.

Are they seeing any messaging from Democrats that let's them know they'll be protected, if they come forward?
We cannot let this be normal. A sitting United States President has called for ‘death’ to sitting Members of Congress.

Those who he targets — veterans, intelligence community, federal workers — must stand up and fight.

Why. Not. You!!
Someone out there is waiting for what only you can offer. Believe in that.

More proof unqualified personnel are being unleashed on American streets.

Also more confirmation that the only way to reestablish any semblance of trust on either side of the border, requires total abolishment of current agency to start completely over.

Use retired Agents/Officers to fill gap.
After years of struggling to find enough workers for some of the nation’s toughest lockups, the Federal Bureau of Prisons is facing a new challenge: Corrections officers are jumping ship for more lucrative jobs at ICE.

As Federal Prisons Run Low on Food and Toilet Paper, Corrections Officers Leave in Droves for ICE
Many of the problems the agency is facing now are not new, but staff and prisoners fear an exodus of officers could make life behind bars even worse.

When Mark Carney sets specific goals for Canada to "diversify away" from its reliance on the US—making headlines in Canada but not the US—hear that for what it is: Close partners and allies looking elsewhere for better friends.

This is the silent way that the US loses its pointless trade war.

No more pretense or excuses. Trump and his team have made the white supremacist foundations of this project explicit and clear.

If you enable this you need to face who and what you are. But you can always choose another way.

Choose humanity. Decency. Equality. Democracy.
To make common cause with this Administration is to support an affirmatively white supremacist vision of this country. Period.

Every corporation.
Every Republican.
Every influencer.
Every Governor.
Every evangelical leader.
Every voter. Yes. Every voter.
Mark Kelly: "This president, when he says things like 'third world countries,' what is he really saying? I think what he's saying is he doesn't want brown people in our country. And that's disturbing. It's un-American."

My daughter use to tell me I can't help but to look for threats everywhere.

As an adult she realizes that we don't have to "look" for threats, because most are obvious and all around us.

What we need to "look" for are managements or escapes.

Now, she blames me for her paranoia/awareness, Lol

I really like @governorwalz.mn.gov

I rank him high on my list of 3 (E. Warren and Pritzker) so far, I could give my vote for President.

Why is @kristenwelker.bsky.social trying to drive a wedge between him and Harris this early? It's not relevant to any current issue, but he handled it well.
November 30, 2025 at 3:55 PM
It took Kristi Noem less than 30 seconds to blatantly lie about vetting of Afghans, while on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."

She promptly blamed Biden, even though Trump's Admin ultimately granted asylum to shooter.

BTW, No one who served with Afghan Advisors would support a blanket ban.

“Home and abroad.”

A notable sentiment given that the administration has labeled not just the people it is killing on these boats as “terrorists” but also domestic political opponents.
Markwayne Mullin: "The president and the secretary of war have been very clear. They're gonna use lethality against our enemies -- home and abroad."

Honduras has always been special to me. I was there as a young Marine.

I saw organized, bold actions of a few with guidance, disrupt government in neighboring Countries.

Based on the ongoing consequences, the U.S. should stay out of ALL Central American politics, unless human rights atrocities.

I'm Thankful for my journey. Grateful for the lessons it taught.

When I look back, I can recognize those who looked out for me as best they could. Sometimes, just a hug.

I didn't always see them in the moment, but I was never left on my own.

My greatest blessing will be to be a blessing to them.

Israel is currently attacking Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon and a land stealing raid into a Syrian village killed women and children.

Let's be honest, if they weren't White people, the Intn'l Community would have stopped these monsters by now.

Israel is a Terrorist-State!

Israel is using existing ceasefire agreements to establish new realities on the ground, projecting itself as the regional hegemon by launching attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and the West Bank.

After years of Michigan Wolverine football, I'm officially done.

I feel the downhill slide coming. The program isn't being ran right in the back office.

I've always loved Texas A&M. May just come on back home to Texas.

People who need to hear someone is fighting for them are moving from one job to the next to make ends meet.

They're trying to keep their family together.

They can't afford cable news. They can't make fancy galas. They aren't at the popular church.

They need leaders to meet them where they are.

This list of losses is devastating.

The lack of organized response from Black Politicians, Civil Rights Orgs, Entertainers, Athletes + others with platforms and/or wealth is saddening.

We've elevated weakness.

Civil Rights Act wouldn't get signed with todays leaders.

Fight Local!

Strong, self-sufficient, but collaborative + coordinated communities are the ultimate resistance to rogue government.

Force despots to defend at every level from every direction, making control unviable.

True Power is the People. The government is only as strong as we allow it to be.

The Good News is we no longer have to worry about Republicans pulling us out of NATO.

The Bad News is NATO will expel us.

We're approaching a point where Allies won't share a cab with us, let alone intel or combat troops.

When do we admit our government is compromised?

I agree wholeheartedly.

I believe hope and optimism is the fuel that pushes us past the fear of standing up to move towards something better.

You can't be hopeful, optimistic + stagnant. If you are, you don't really believe that people can be better.

You've given up, but with a smile to hide it.
Since people find being hopeful and optimistic so cringe these days, let me remind you once again that there isn’t a single liberation movement in the world that wasn’t built on hope and optimism.
