So important to point out how the US and other Arctic actors are instrumentalizing Indigeous populations for state purposes. All while continuing to enable the genocide of other Indigenous peoples in other regions. Truly sick system.

The Greenland scheme is a very clever strategy by US planners. Either the Europeans and Canada militarize the Arctic region and project interdiction capability into Russian shipping lanes, or the US does it unilaterally. Stoking nationalist revanchism within Europe & Canada is a win-win for the US.
