The content/trailer that sold me on starting #Warframe, I completed the mainline of #Warframe1999 yesterday and MY GOD what a moment. The Entrati saga is incredible, The Hex are everything to me. The Drifter fighting for them is 🤌
The 1999 setting also pulls at my nostalgic heartstrings.

Beyond the ethical and quality concerns, why would you want to cut voice actors out of your process? They’re the hot people with media training and a camera presence. You need a Laura Bailey or Neil Newbon out there to do panels or it’s just a bunch of sweaty devs in t shirts and blazers

If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

the eurogamer arc raiders review made this the crux of their argument but it really got me thinking of how insanely boring and small-minded you have to be to rob yourself of the opportunity for a voice actor to really make an imprint on your game, community, and legacy

Announcing more cosmetic microtransaction cross over items in other EA in game shops and nothing more than “we are working on the game” is exactly why I couldn’t care less about N7 this year. I love Bioware, I love Mass Effect and Dragon Age. EA has gutted my favorite franchises forever.
