My Love passed away peacefully yesterday.

The kids and I are trying to process our loss, how fast all this happened and prepare for a life without him.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
OK...things are getting ugly on here so I'm off to enjoy the decent weather we have today, do some more packing for my trip, and move my dehumidifier so it can drain into the bilge and remain on the whole time I'm gone.

Later, Lovelies

Peace out!

I wish more would trust the process of PM Carney.
While Premiers and some foreign leaders are playing tiddly winks he's playing chess at Grandaster levels.

Carney is made the point that if you remove all this, Alberta still won’t get a pipeline built. Isn’t a business case for it. Plus got solar & wind in AB in return. Provinces blame Feds & federal laws for their failures & being in the way. He’s proving them wrong.

We should add, the increase price of the industrial carbon tax is substantial. The effective rate moves from around $30 when credits are factored in to $130. It’s ok if the pathways project dies, it’s focused on oil, which we don’t want and isn’t as effective. AB has other CC projects with LNG

Tje positive part of the MOU between Canada and Alberta is the opportunity to take the federal threat out of Alberta politics, forcing accountability back to its provincial government. Not sure the UCP will survive the scrutiny.

Feels like one of those days I'm going to get called a Carney cultist if I actually read the article and refuse to get mad at Carney for stuff he has not done.

It remains to be seen what happens in the future, but this feels like placating an enemy so he can get real work done.
