Fun Fact: Baby Boom came out Oct. 30, 1987, the same exact date I was born in southern Vermont (where the film was filmed and takes place).

There was a also a student a year below me who came out as a trans man. They were always nice to me but shy, like me.

I think in small rural areas it's harder to come out because everyone knows everyone.

I think they're were at least 5+ big high school crushes I had. All of them I think were straight. 😭

Keep in mind my school was very small (30 students in my class, the largest) and I was very closeted.

I remember talking to my lesbian friend who was a classmate. We had similar experiences.

I still remember coming out to my mom in high school, so it was around 2007.

There was this classmate I had a big crush on but I don't think he ever knew. He had long curly hair and he was bigger than me, I was as skinny as I am now.
