Musk's people infiltrated the GSA technology arm early on and demanded root-level access to computer systems, trying to circumvent normal security procedures. Here's one example where they pushed so hard they forced someone to resign rather than give in.

I got a Twitter DM from the publisher of a book by Jeffrey Haas (Fred Hampton's lawyer) that I'd recommended in a thread that went viral, thanking me for the unexpected spike in sales. I'm sure we're talking dozens, not hundreds, but they were like doing highkey internet sleuthing to figure it out!

I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

I’m at $42/$541 for my phone service and car note! I need my phone to be able to reach my elderly dad who I run errands for and talk to my disabled childs therapists almost daily. Without that support I struggle a lot. I also cannot start rent until I get these covered and rent is due in 6 days!!!

He is high needs meaning he needs help with everything through out the day. I'm disabled myself. I have long covid which mostly entails POTs, uterine fibroids and chronic fatigue. But there are a lot of things my body struggles to do now which make it hard for me to work. When I was last working I ended up in the ER from overworking my body and decided it was best for me to stay home especially since my disabled child was already struggling so much with the caretaker he had at the time. I also have a trans child so we live in California where it's safest for her and my family in general as two of us are disabled. I'm working towards getting on disability at the moment as well as exploring options to be paid to be my son's caregiver as his behavior gets worse when I'm not the one caring for him. I don't sugar coat in distinguishing ableism from eugenics because i know in very many cases it's not a matter of wealth hoarders wanting poor disabled ppl to "handle their own problems" but that they actually just want to hinder ppls ability to do that until they perish.
