I asked this once and didn't get a reply. How do you buy a game to get the most money to the developer?
Smile for me. It was a very long, scary ride home. Similar to the Grudge in that both movies could be read as metaphors (much thinner metaphor in Smile's case) for trauma.
That's so good. I wish I could think of a good way to make that vest. 3D printing and some paint could do the face.
I am ride-or-die for @aoc.bsky.social because she did fundraising for Texas food banks after winter storm Yuri. I was snowed in for five days without electricity or heat. Cruz fled, Abbott pretended the problem was wind power and did nothing. AOC actually did something.

If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net
It's Guillermo Del Toro's favorite film. He selected it for a film festival, and that's where I first saw it.
It's really scary to see what a coordinate campaign of hate has managed to do in such a short time. I'm really impressed with how brave people have been in the face of it.
It's tough both emotionally and in body horror. It's much harder than Being Her Back. I lived Sally Hawkins in this role. The entire car does a great job.

I just bought tickets to see this Sunday. I really need to hit Fantastic Fest next time. I always love the stuff that comes up on Fantastic Fest Presents.
Turducken of bougie hobbies -- painted ceramic label for garden herbs for cooking.
The book came up because the store had been targeted by a conservative hate campaign after adamantly refusing to carry Charlie Kirk's books, but the local outpouring of support overwhelmed anything done by the hate campaign, which seemed like Jamie's work.
I was at @birdhousebooks.bsky.social talking about #LessonsInMagicAndDisaster. They asked me to write a blurb for it, which I was really happy to do. @charliejane.bsky.social
Peter Dinklage from Heads Will Roll: "A . . . clo-a-ca."
I loved the first one. It's one of my comfort watches -- movies I could see fifty times and enjoy every time.
I saw May at Butt-Numb-a-Thon as a pre-release. It was a lot of fun, followed, if I remember right, by the truly horrible _Tiptoes_. Holy shit, that's over twenty years ago?
I haven't been to Gourdough's in ages. 1503 South First now.
Hey, welcome to Austin (in 4+ hours).
Saw this bumper sticker while I was out walking. It occurred to me that maybe I'd found @weinberg.social 's car.
I feel bad posting this, but I already had it from discovering a fourth variation of potato pancakes. For the record, I love them all.

It was only little fluffier and a lot more eggy-tasting, which is a little odd, since it's basically the same ingredients. It was kind of a nice change but not really worth it, exactly.
I tried this recipe for microwavable keto bread that my brother @bluefiddleguy.bsky.social suggested. It's pretty good. I tried it again whipping the egg whites to stiff peaks and folding everything else back in, which I admit was very much missing the point.

Lots of details of Mae's death were really personal because they were so similar to my mother's last months.

The James O'Keefe character's downfall was also a really stark comment on our time.

They were small parts of the book, but they hit really hard.
Almost done with #LessonsInMagicAndDisaster by @charliejane.bsky.social. By volume, the book is mostly good people doing good things. The hard parts, though, are so shockingly familiar and real that they land hard.
I'm at the main Austin library. I wish everything ran a well as libraries do.
