But the press is being acquired by Trump loyalists step by step. See Paramount.
Before speaking with two armed men at the Pretti vigil last night, a man approached & asked if I was going to tell the truth. I said yes. He told me how frustrated he was at the media & the harm it’s causing to his community.

I asked if he wanted to share words for the media on camera, & he did:

Can’t get over that Pretti’s parents yesterday woke up thinking everything was normal and by the end of the day they were watching the federal government trash their dead son.

China says trade arrangements with Canada not aimed at third parties after US tariff threat
Arrangements between China and Canada to address bilateral economic and trade issues are not targeted at any third party, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Monday, in response to a U.S. threat to impose 100% tariffs on Canada if it finalises a trade deal with Beijing.

The Greenland deal (in which the US won the mining and military base rights it already had) reminds me of the China trade deal (unfreezing global rare earths trade) in which Trump wagered his nation's reputation as a reliable trading partner for "wins" that only returned his country to square one.

Bessent: the notion Europeans will sell U.S. assets "came from a single analyst at Deutsche Bank...amplified by the fake news media."

The DB note said the “US has one key weakness: it relies on others to pay its bills via large external deficits.”

Europe holds $8 trillion of US stocks, bonds.
When U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent was asked how concerned he is about European investors pulling out of treasuries, Bessent said at a press conference at the World Economic Forum: “Denmark’s investment in U.S. Treasury bonds, like Denmark itself, is irrelevant.” cnb.cx/45I3MGb

Investment capital in Europe is a lot harder to raise than in America (ask any startup for details). Europe is a powerhouse and it’s time for Europe to invest in Europe to the benefit of Europeans instead of America to the benefit of Americans.
Donald Tusk put it well. "Right now, 500 million Europeans are begging 300 million Americans for protection from 140 million Russians who have been unable to overcome 50 million Ukrainians for three years."
